the recent Vodafone add caught my attention yesterday . 2 colleagues ask each other about how they spent their previous day .
one slept for the whole day, ate drank , saw cricket match on television .. (apply for loop. i mean. repeat it )
the other got out of his bed .. went ahead to the stadium enjoyed the match and got the cricketer’s autograph on the cricket ball.
now the only difference is one spent a lazy day and one got out of bed and had a incredible day .
Now my point here is , Sundays are not just for sleeping , it also gives u a chance to reload ur energy , enthusiasm for the whole week ahead .
now i wish to spend my whole weekend with family and complete personal work . i also have a whiteboard at home which lists pending works (not office work )
i completed setting up my newly rented home . so plenty of work completed in this weekend ..
i like vacations too. there is a lake opposite to my home .. plenty of people come enjoy the nature , do exercise , boating and go back home with much more enthusiasm . even i do
how do you like spending your Sundays ??? do write back
Basically, I try to take it easier on a Sunday even when I am trying to catch up, prepare things, or deliberately schedule work for that day. Because it simply is more relaxed to work without appointments around.
Like i said .. i still like to see nature’s beauty too.. it gives me fresh oxygen to breath and smile even when day is worse.. thanks erika for ur opinion too 🙂 cheers.. btw how was ur sunday
Oh, it was a good day, relaxed, I could get some things done peacefully, and it was pouring all day… lol!
ah !! so now u can send some rain over here .. too much heat here ..
Believe me, I would love to share, raining again over here!
Yes, That’s true.
Time is precious than anything because we can’t get back time in return after spent so It’s better to utilize those time for something which is better than nothing.
Thanks buddy for ur opinion . yes u r right . when u have time , use that because time and tide waits for none ..
Hahaha…
: )
Lucky you.. you have a lake nearby.. I hope you enjoy your new place and lake.. n yes.. Sunday can be energizing if we are ready to let the energy in 🙂
Thanks B.. i like greenery and i found a good place .. evening if i come early to home i feel peaceful going there and spending few mins
I am sure it’s peaceful and beautiful there.. Have a good time at your new place
Thought provoking!
Thanks Ishita.. how did you spend your sunday ?
No doubt you have so much of energy. .keep going
Thank you madam , its just that I like using time effectively ..
I am not the lazy kind, i normally do many activities over the weekends (starting with an hour-long Yoga Saturday mornings at a temple close by).
good to hear that. keep doing that.. 🙂
Great post Sup! I go for a run and work out on Sundays. This gives me more energy.
Fantastic. Keep doing that. Ur home will be filled with more positive energy
Thank you so much Sup:-)
hey Sup, congrats on your new rental home!
I spend the day doing a lot of things at home. If I have more time, I do some projects on my to do list. Attending to the family. If I have extra time, run, blog, and play the flute.
We all do whatever we think we should do, or feel like doing. It’s either be lazy or be on the run. It’s all good : ) As long as it’s not self destructing or not causing trouble to other people! : )
Enjoy the weekend!
Very nice. That’s the reason you have been so full of energy
I am very exhausted at the end of the day!!! : )
It’s usually a beach day or a mall day. Either way.. it’s so refreshing and I feel energized fir the following week to come!
Very important to feel more refreshed and energized . good
🙂
You have a lake opposite your place, that’s awesome. 😃 I can see the sea from my place.. just the water.. it’s a little far though.
For*
I spend time on the blog. I guess Saturday is my Sunday. Sunday is more like recharge day to last the week.
U spend time on blogs.. Good. But mere blogs padhne me itna time laga.. 😦
I’m reallyyy sorry!! Sometimes back I had visited your blog but it was taking too long to load. And after that I got busy with the exams.
I’m gonna make it up in one go today!! 😉 😀
But some of us like SLEEPING…..What’s wrong with sleeping if you love it? I prefer to sleep and read intermittently than step out.
Nothing wrong.. Its the matter of preference. I certainly cannot sleep whole sunday. Just for couple of hrs. I prefer to use it more efficiently.
Holidays are meant to realize our own self, to give time to our own likes. Whatever we want to do, holidays fulfill it!
Yes . I prefer using my time effectively
It’s good. We should! Life is all about living. Rest depends on us whether to spend it only on resting or first getting ourselves tired then resting!
U got the point friend .. Agreed
Thanks. ☺
Sometimes I laze around and other times, I try to make a fruitful day out of it. Your home faces a lake, that must be a sight to behold. Awesome post BTW.
Thanks a lot for ur opinion.. Yeah lake s good. view is good.. Good place to relax
For me, Sundays give the opportunity to reconnect with the entire family, take some time out, finish pending chores, and to give the better half of the day to go to the temple and singlemindedly experience the bliss of God.
And, I have to say, having a lake by your house is something! It’s always peaceful to be surrounded by nature… 🙂
That’s so great to hear. Like the way u utilise the time
Thank you, but credits go to my parents for teaching me well. 🙂
Certainly.. And good that u follow them .. And u understand that there is a benefit in it
I try to not plan my Sundays as the whole other six days goes behind planning & running errands 😀
Enjoy ur weekend … Cheers
Really loved your post !
I generally try to utilize my Sunday as much as I can whether its a house hold work or something else and try to help my parents in cleaning and stuff!
And then me and my family gives cooks a special meal to end up the day ! 🙂
Very good… So good to hear that. I’m sure u prepare a delicious meal..
Its Saturdays here!
it passes like no seconds!
yeah! its good to plan!
and
utilise tym for some goodness
: )
I’m sure u would do lot of good things .. For the kind of heart u have
thank you so much for saying that sathii
have a nyc day
Honestly, I go for a little more sleep on Sundays. Just can’t help it 😛 But, Sundays are always busy apart from that. Have to catch up with a lot of things pending through the week.
Using a whiteboard for making a list of things-to-do….is a good policy… 🙂
Thanks for supporting my thought process Mani.. BTW u look different in this pic haha 😉
😀 it was clicked during this Diwali…traditional look, you see… 😛
Sunday for me is a day for family gathering. A day to be together where it is the only day we relax from the busy week days.
great post…makes me rethink how I should spend my sundays.
M sure u will do many useful things .. And spend the day wisely . u r free to share
I really enjoy being lazy on a Sunday every now and then. But at the moment our Sunday’s are spent going to our girl’s soccer game in the morning, then waiting for her while she socializes (and we do too) and then most of the time going home and having our kids friends over or the kids are over at their friends house and then later we catch up with the parents of those friends. Sunday is our half busy, half lazy day. We are spoiled in that sense that it’s not the only day we have available to do something really. Sometimes we all just take a day during the week and go for a hike.
When I grew up, Sunday was the day to make memories, go out and do something. It was the day I went on long horseback rides alone or with a friend. It was the day I went skiing afterwards (or sometimes before the ride). But I was never the person to stay in bed or in front of the TV all Sunday long. And I’m still not.
I understand ur point. But then u r spending time with ur family and there by creating memories. I like that
Very true!
Nice !
U seems interesting
Glad you found me interesting.. may be because i write on many different kinda topics
Yes and feelings
